A cycle boat is a pontoon boat with a paddle wheel in the back that is powered by the pedaling of the passengers aboard. The cycle boat can accommodate up to 15 people, and includes 10 pedal stations and a lounge area in the front for non-pedaling passengers.
Tour includes a Captain, cooler, ice, Bluetooth, and a two-hour tour of the south side of Payette Lake.

No. The cycle boat is equipped with a motor. If passengers get tired, the motor can take over the work.
Yes. The cycle boat is for all ages, but please note if booking a public tour, passengers may bring their own alcoholic beverages aboard. Children under the age of 14 must wear a life jacket on board. Life jackets can be provided.
Summers in McCall can be very warm. You can expect up to 90 degrees in the middle of July through August. May, June, and September can be a little cooler. Please check local weather reports to guide you on what to wear. Bring a swimsuit if you would like to swim!
Yes! Music will be provided by the captain, and passengers are welcome to request specific songs and/or music.
There is no bathroom aboard the cycle boat. There are public restrooms available to use in Art Roberts Park. If you need to use the restroom during the trip, please ask your Captain to make a stop.
Cancellation policy:
To receive a full refund for a Public Tour, the booking must be canceled 24 hours before departure. To receive a full refund for a Private Tour, the booking must be canceled 48 hours before departure.
Weather Cancellation:
A full refund will be issued if the Captain has to cancel a tour due to inclement weather conditions. If there is thunder, lightning, or extreme heavy winds the tour will be canceled, and we will do our best to issue a refund or reschedule for another tour day.
Departures:
- Please arrive 10 minutes prior to departure.
- Public tours will leave on time with or without you.
- Private tours will wait for you, but your trip time will not be extended, and your tour will ultimately be shortened.
Terms:
- Those that are drinking alcoholic beverages on board must be over the age of 21. Please be ready to show ID and to sign the Release of Liability waiver.
- Payette Pedal Party has the right to terminate a tour if passengers are extremely intoxicated. If this happens, the tour will be terminated, and NO refunds will be issued.
Beverages and snacks are not served aboard. Passengers may bring food, beer, wine, seltzers, and hard alcohol. Please know that the Captain does have the right to terminate a tour if passengers are belligerent or dangerously intoxicated.
